At age 14, I found strength training and running extremely helpful for building confidence and managing stress. After my teenage years of athletic injuries and wear-and-tear through snowboarding and mountain bike crashes, weight lifting and firefighting injuries, I was in chronic pain. I continued to trail run through college and pursued solutions to my pain. I learned from physical therapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists how to actually take care of my body while still enjoying recreational sports.
I love to help clients get back in shape, pursue new goals and activities, and enjoy movement again with less pain and more satisfaction. In addition to strength and conditioning, I coach holistic lifestyle practices including whole-food nutrition, stress management, and self-care strategies that are sustainable for long-term success. In combination with massage, FST, and self-myofascial release, clients can experience not only relief from chronic pain but better movement, strength, and recovery.
There is always more to learn about the amazing human body and I love sharing this passion while serving others. I enjoy backpacking in the wilderness, weight lifting, snowboarding, and traveling with my wife and kids.
